1. What we collect
When you use PostRig, we collect:
- Email address – when you activate the extension or upgrade to Pro
- License key – to verify your subscription
- Device identifier – to bind your license to one device (security)
- Usage data – how many generations you use per month (for limits and support)
We do not collect your LinkedIn password or access your LinkedIn account. The extension runs in your browser and only sends the content you choose (e.g. post text, message text) to our server to generate suggestions. You copy and paste results yourself.
2. How we use it
We use your email to activate your account, send license-related emails, and respond to support. We use usage data to enforce monthly limits (free vs Pro) and to improve the service. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on our servers and is protected by standard security measures. We use your device ID only to enforce one-device-per-license. Communication between the extension and our server uses HTTPS.
4. Third parties
We use Google Gemini for AI generation (content you submit is sent to Google for processing). We use Lemon Squeezy for payments; they process payment data according to their privacy policy. We do not share your email or usage data with advertisers.
5. Your rights

6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of PostRig after changes means you accept the updated policy.
